Our experienced panel of judges score contestants in the following categories:

Formal Wear (30%)
Personal Introduction (30%)
Interview (30%)
Community Involvement (10%)

Formal Wear (30%)
Formal Wear counts for 30% of your final pageant score! Every contestant will be individually introduced on stage, with all the lights, sounds, and excitement! This is your moment alone in the spotlight wearing the dress of your choice! You will take home the lifelong skills of walking and standing like a polished and confident young lady.

Choose a dress that shows off your unique personality. The color and style are your choice. You should feel confident and excited about who you are and who you were created to be!

As you are introduced on stage, you will be escorted! Your father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, godfather or any other friend may escort you on stage. This is such a great way to involve your male family members. What a sweet memory you will make with your escort! If no one is available, we will be happy to provide an escort for you at no cost.

During this competition, you will be learning how to speak effectively into a microphone and how to confidently and professionally present yourself on stage. You will take home the lifelong skill of introducing yourself and speaking onstage to a live audience.

Contestants will introduce themselves on stage, saying their name, hometown, where they see themselves in the future or something interesting about themselves.

Interview (30%)
Interview counts for 30% of your final pageant score! You will talk one-on-one with each of the pageant judges. This is the time when you let your personality shine through. You will take home valuable interviewing skills, such as making good eye contact, speaking confidently, and sitting properly during an interview.

The judges will be asking questions simply to find out more about you. They will not ask questions with a right or wrong answer. They want to get to know you! Some sample questions might be:

Princess & Jr. Pre-Teen:
What is your favorite color? Book? Movie? TV Show?
What is your favorite animal?
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Why do you want to be the Queen for your state?

Pre-Teen, Jr. Teen & Teen:
What character qualities do you look for when choosing a friend?
What is your favorite subject in school?
Whom do you most admire? Why?
Why do you want to be the Queen for your state?

Community Involvement (10%)
The Pageant Weekend Community Involvement Project is incredibly fun, easy, and rewarding! A full 10% of your final pageant score will be awarded to you when you donate a children's book or school supplies on pageant weekend. The contestants, as a team, will then personally present them at the pageant's final show to representatives of libraries, literacy programs, firefighters, and policemen to aid in their work with children. Together we can make a difference in the lives of others.
